For many years the AIQEF auction was held in conjunction with Institute of Quarrying Australia’s national conference and the Construction Materials Industry Conference. These were normally live auctions, but with the changes to the structure and length of these conferences the Foundation is introducing on-line auctions, commencing in October 2016.
The AIQEF Auctions have contributed in excess of $1 million to the funds available for the Foundation to make grants for industry training. The income from each year’s auctions goes directly towards grants in the financial year of the auction.
